Government Incentive to Intercaste marriage in Maharashtra & other states

Pratibimb Mishra Vivah Mandal works as marriage buareu. In order to promote help to all concerned, please see original G.R. (Government Resolutions) by Govt of Maharashtra.

Government of Maharashtra increased the reward sum for those who opt for intercaste marriage from Rs 15000 to Rs 50000. The decision was taken today 12th Jan 2010. Click here to see new G.R.

On 5th October 2009, Uttar Pradesh government announced cash incentive, Rs 10000 and interest-free loan, Rs 15000 to couples opting for inter-caste or inter-religion marriages.

  • You have to approach the District headquarters, Collector office.
  • Meet the officer in charge of social welfare department. (Zilla Samaj Kalyan Adhikari)
  • Fill the form available with this office.
  • You need to have your address proof and marriage-proof (certificate) and caste-certificates.

Click here to download the form available with Thane District officer, you will get similar form at your District headquarter. The form will open in new window, which you can print, fill & submit to the officer with relevant documents.

The procedure is quite lengthy and sometimes takes 6 months.
