Pratibimb Foundation was established in 2012, as a registered non-profit organisation. It was founded by an Azim Premji University alumnus and experienced development professional Mr Shailesh Kumar. The foundation focuses in the areas of Education, Livelihood, Poverty Alleviation, and other related development interventions. Currently, the organizational focus is to enhance quality of education at elementary level in rural government schools and establishing the community learning centre for the drop out and street children to ensure access of education in Uttar Pradesh.

Pratibimb Foundation is a non-profit organisation committed to creating a more equitable, inclusive, and empowered society through quality education, youth development, adolescent girls’ empowerment, livelihood opportunities, and community development. The Foundation works with government schools, communities, young people,adolescent girls, and local stakeholders to create opportunities for individuals to learn,develop their potential, and build better futures.

Established as Pratibimb Charitable Foundation in 2019 and founded by Mr. Shailesh Kumar,an alumnus of Azim Premji University and an experienced development professional, the Foundation builds on its commitment to addressing educational and social challenges faced by marginalised communities. Its work focuses on strengthening existing systems, developing local capacities, and promoting sustainable, community-led change.

With its ongoing initiatives in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Pratibimb Foundation is working to improve learning outcomes in government primary schools, expand educational opportunities for children who face barriers to learning, empower adolescent girls, support young people in pursuing careers and livelihoods, and strengthen community participation in development.
