Our Work Across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand

Uttar Pradesh -Pratibimb Foundation has an established presence in Mirzapur district, where its initiatives focus on improving the quality of education in government primary schools, strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy, promoting library-based learning, and supporting teachers through mentoring and academic engagement.

The Foundation also works through community learning centres to support children who have dropped out of school or face barriers to regular education. These centres provide learning support in Hindi and Mathematics and encourage children's transition into, or continued participation in, formal schooling.
In Mirzapur, the SAKSHAM Project works with adolescent girls and communities to promote education, health, safety, gender equality, life skills, and leadership. The Foundation also supports youth development and awareness of educational, career, and livelihood opportunities.
In addition, the Foundation is working with five government primary schools in Mirzapur Nagar Kshetra to strengthen FLN and library-based learning.

Uttarakhand Pratibimb Foundation has extended its education initiatives to five government schools in Kashipur Block of Udham Singh Nagar district, Uttarakhand. Through engagement with schools and education stakeholders, the Foundation aims to strengthen educational practices and support improved learning opportunities for children.

Its school-based approach draws on its experience in foundational learning, child-centred teaching, and library-based learning, with a focus on supporting schools in creating more engaging and effective learning environments.
The Foundation aims to build collaborative relationships with teachers, school leaders, education officials, and communities to support the continued improvement of school education.

Our Approach Pratibimb Foundation believes that lasting change requires collaboration, local ownership, and continuous learning. Our work is guided by the following principles:
